The Project

The team at The Views on Fifth Avenue realize that there is a unique opportunity to create something special with this former nine-story office building in the heart of downtown Olympia. Here is a short history of and plan for the building:

1966
Nine-story office building called Capitol Center built.
1980s through 2005
Building used for state offices, including the Department of Corrections. The building has sat vacant since the state moved the Corrections division to Tumwater.
Early Spring 2007
Permitting process begins to convert the office building into a mixed-use building, including upgrading the structural and mechanical systems as well as the energy efficiency of the structure.
Late Spring 2007 through Winter 2008
Renovation.
Spring 2008
New owners purchase and occupy condominium units!
