The Project
The team of Viewpoint Tower realize that there is a unique opportunity to create something special with this former nine-story office building in the heart of downtown Olympia. Here is a short history of and plan for the building:
- 1966
- Nine-story office building called Capitol Center built.
- 1980s through 2005
- Building used for state offices, including the Department of Corrections. The building has sat vacant since the state moved the Corrections division to Tumwater.
- 2008
- Plans and permits are completed to fully renovate this office building.
- 2009
- Renovation commencement planned.
